A day at the beach

On Sunday my dad surprised us by letting us know we were of to the beach :) It had been a year since my sister and I been there so I we were definitely excited! The fun thing was that Hannah and her dad (my brother in law) had never been to the beach before. WE HAD SUCH A BLAST!!!!!!!

It was my first time going to the beach down here in Florida, the beach we went to is called Siesta keys. Its a cute little island with the warmest water ever!!! When I lived in San Diego the water was FREEZING, but the water here is seriously amazing. The only downside is that there aren't as many waves to jump :( Other than that its awesome, OOO and the sand is sooo white. My brother in law is like a paparazzi and took a million pictures LOL sooo I thought Id share some with yall <3

A robins nest....

Hey yall :) I should be working on an Etsy feature right now, but I'm so ecstatic of a little project I finished earlier.

When I was a little girl *about 6* I took a family trip to Bolivia, There was a sweet lady selling some handmade pottery on the street and I really wanted to take a peek. When I walked over I found the cutest pottery, one of which was a small nest with two eggs. I thought it would be a perfect gift to my mom because she had two little babies *my sister and I* I ended up buying it and giving it to her :)

To this day its my favorite decor in our home, So I decided "why not make something myself that resembles the excitement I felt that day in Bolivia?" To my delight it came out just like I wanted it to. . .

Florida is what??? RED HOT

When I was in 6th grade (my last year in private school) I was a cheerleader... One of our cheers has constantly been on my mind this week so far. It went something like this. . .

"CCA IS WHAT??? RED HOT! I SAID CCA IS WHAT??? RED HOT R-E-D H-O-T RED HOT!"

jejeje it might not sound like much but it was pretty fun, the reason its been on my mind is because the temperatures have been out of control HOT! Sunday was 95 yesterday was 98 and today was 99!!! The humidity is out of control too

Ive been getting crazy migraines even though I drink tons of water, my dad has been getting them too but we are trying to stay away from taking medicine. . . so as you can imagine there are two grumpy people in my house today jeje

I will not be doing much of the talking today for my weekly Best team feature :) I am extremely lucky to have the opportunity to feature a very special lady who's goal is nonetheless to please and reassure. My Feature is on the lovely Mrs. Karen of Mystic Wynd I love the story behind the name if her shop! here it is

"An awareness of peace and love rose anew, As the spirit found truth and the Mystic Wynd blew..."

That line is a line from a poem I wrote a while back. It is a poem about life and learning to embrace the idea of being true to ourselves and learning not to care too much about whether we're up to the scrutiny of others.

Her store is full of amazing jewelry that fits any person, style, religion or income.

Here is a bit about Mrs. Karen

Born and raised in the Windy City (Chicago, Il), I was fortunate to have grown up in a culturally diverse, ethnically rich, "neighborhood" where everyone knew everyone else, we were able to keep our doors unlocked, girls actually couldn't wait until Mom or Grandma or Aunt Sally taught them to crochet or knit or do any of the other handcrafts that adorned our homes, our wardrobes, our places of worship and even sometimes made it into the little shop on the corner to be sold.

Mrs. Karen is currently living in Arizona, she had 3 beautiful kids, 3 awesome step kids and 7 wonderful grand kids!!! The diversity in her shop has really caught my attention, I see so many treasures just waiting to be picked up. Crazi sisters

Today when my sister came over after work we decided to have a makeup party <3 I don't know If you guys are as makeup crazy as my sister and I jejeje before she got married we used to spend hours and hours doing different makeup looks! An old favorite which we still do every once in a while is ELECTRIC BLUES jejeje I LOVE LOVE blue*as you already know*, soo my sister thought we should do some fun blue looks... I used my favorite MPZ eye shadows in Rabies, Bettie, Bone, and White lines...

My sister used Rabies and Dalia :) Anyway I thought I'd share some fun pictures with yall, !!!BUT!!!! of course something had to go wrong, my computer deleted everything on my SD chip before I could save anything... they were such cute pictures!  I was able to take a couple of just myself with a bad camera. They aren't the best quality but I hope you still get to see the fun blues jeje

BTW Andrea from the AMAZING MPZ cosmetics is super sweet and her makeup is the best quality if your interested here is her awesome etsy shop.

I'm hoping to try again with my sister again tomorrow :) We are kind on rusty on our makeup skills....

I used to do makeup for my friends all the time, and I would do my own even if I wouldn't go out.. But its never to late to start up again <3 I hope you guys have a fun Wednesday :)

Hope you all are having a good week so far. Its been really sunny these last two days, three days ago there was a terrible storm that swept by so Ive been pretty stoked about the sun! I got to take Hannah the pool today and we had a BLAST, Im so happy that I get to teach her how to swim, shes such a fast learner.

To my sweet baby

May 1st was My niece Hannah's 2nd birthday :) I meant to make a post but I completely forgot. A couple months before she was born I wrote her a song, it was so much fun to sing to my sister's belly jeje Hannah would move around like a wiggle worm when we would sing to her. I remember rubbing my sisters belly and telling her "your favorite color is going to be pink like your auntie" It was such an emotional time for me

2 years ago a most precious baby girl was born :) Happy birthday to my gorgeous niece Hannah!!!!!! I LOVE YOU MORE AND MORE EVERYDAY ♥ i cant imagine not having you in my life....
